August Board Meeting
Wed Oct 21, 2020 1:35 pm
August Notes 8-20-20
Term limits discussed, and board agreed to not have past president position, board agreed to waive fees due to Covid/ Stay at home order this year. This can be a building, rebranding year for the organization, a year to collaborate and reach common goals together, not related to CTA demands. Moving forward the group would like to make things more relevant, collect dues electronically, have more communication with learning communities (dedicated website, forum, etc…..) google survey was not efficient. Brainstorm ideas of expectations of OCASP (virtual trainings, communication with social services leadership, social opportunities when covid is done, etc……)

January Board Meeting on January 20, 2020
Welcome Back Andrea Hogue. Congratulations on New Baby.
OCASP Board met to discuss success of Angel Tree. What was noted that most of the Donations in the North Learning Community took advantage of digital donation through the Cash App. OCASP successfully met the $600 goal and was able to deliver all the donations by 2nd Week in December.
There was discussion regarding OCASP purchasing 35 tickets for the Women's Leadership Symposium and 35 individual Memberships for the National Diversity Council at $1200, which would normally cost $5250. All Board members indicated that they were in favor of purchase. The discussion was about how we would fairly split the tickets among learning communities. We agreed that 6 would go to each learning community and 5 for Charter/Mental Health. What was not used could be given to overflow in other learning communities. Each learning community would decide on who would like to take advantage of the offer.
